Global Content Group develops and advises on digital media business development, licensing and managing international rights (remakes, adaptations, et al) of popular TV, film, game and digital contents through international relationships.
At GCG we advise on and build businesses and brands around the content we represent to a network of international media and entertainment stakeholders.
We believe a great story and content transcends borders and platforms.
A good piece of I.P. (intellectual property) can reach and be delivered to audiences on many platforms, including TV, broadband and IPTV (connected TV devices), games, books, mobile, and merchandising as a brand, to name a few.
GCG’s expertise is in developing content and licensing I.P. for multiple-screens (the second and next screen advantage), with international content and digital platform relationships, gives us a certain distinction in the marketplace.
Since 2010, GCG has worked with rights holders from the U.S., Asia, Europe, Latin America and India, on licensing deals for remakes, adaptations, co-productions and financing of projects in the U.S. and other markets. Depending on the content, GCG gets involved with not just the licensing of foreign TV shows from Asia or Latin America, we are also actively involved with direction on packaging, branding, and overall content strategy. We have negotiated licensing deals and remake rights for the some of the most popular Asian TV series to bring to the U.S., Latin America and India.
We have negotiated and lead discussions on international financing and branded entertainment deals on digital, new and emerging contents, and with foreign electronic manufacturers, U.S. studios and production companies. From managing entry into foreign markets, building relationships with the content and rights holders, production companies, broadcasters, and writers, GCG has lead in exploring new business models built on the “globalization of contents”.
Recently we have brought major U.S. and foreign stakeholders to the table on the creation of private equity backed incubators, on the development of investing in and licensing technology around the distribution, creation, and enhancement of content on multiple platforms. The initiatives include an emphasis on new digital and content distribution technology that enhance and build the content experience on -tablets, smart phones, social-mobile + TV + gaming, Smart TV’s, and 3D technologies.
If there is something we cannot handle directly, we have a deep network of relationships, and are sure of our ability to bring in the right partner to confirm the project.
